PROJECT TITLE: Simply Soccer Kick the indifference to score a goal with the difference.

RECIPIENTS: 500 immigrant and Italian boys and girls (ages 6-29)
DURATION: 18 months
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT: to experiment the practice of Simply Soccer among boys and girls of every nationality and sporting ability with workshops to strengthen individual and group skills in meeting places; propose a model of sustainable good practice that can be replicated in different contexts.
PGS – Polisportive Giovanili Salesiane, thanks to its experience in sports training dedicated to young people, wants to spread a model already tested with disabled children, through the promotion of sport with inclusive purposes and the creation of meeting places.
The Simply Soccer project – Give a kick to indifference to score a goal with the difference choose the practice of 5-a-side football, because the reduced number allows greater control and adaptability, composing heterogeneous and balanced teams both internally and compared to other teams, leveling the competition based on the characteristics of each one. Boys and girls of all ages, origins and abilities can participate.
This new model conceives football in a completely innovative way, going to re-create open and free play spaces, just like when practicing on the street. Simply Soccer, wants to restore dignity to the most loved sport in Italy and in the world, offering everyone the opportunity to practice it, promoting the sports competition in its best sense, which brings out the peculiarities of every boy and girl regardless of nationality and abilities .
